LESSON 1 - THE CORRECT ORDER TO APPLY MAKEUP

Welcome* to your first makeup lesson! Before moving on to more complicated and technical concepts, we need to start with the basics!

Have you ever wondered what to start doing makeup first and what after and it's always the same story every time?

No problem!

Read this article to the end and I'm sure that at the end your ideas will be clearer!

Primer or moisturizer

Fundamental step that cannot be skipped, as this determines the final result and the performance of the makeup as the hours pass. Apply a moisturizer or your favorite primer all over your face before applying any products to your skin.

Corrector

Now you can start correcting any discolouration on your face with concealers.

Foundation

Once this is done, spread the foundation all over your face and neck. Better to take a foundation that is as close as possible to the natural color of your skin and start by applying it from your forehead. Obviously if you don't use foundation you can skip this step.

Eyebrows

Comb your eyebrows and correct them with a pencil or eyeshadow ( no black! ). Finally, to ensure they don't move all day, apply a fixing gel.

Eyeshadow

Now you can start applying eyeshadows on your eyes.

Contouring

Sculpt your face with the contouring technique

Blush and highlighter

Color your cheeks and make your cheekbones shine with a little highlighter.

Mascara

We're almost at the finish line! Apply mascara to your eyelashes

Lipstick

To finish in style, contour your lips with a light concealer, pencil and finally lipstick.
